The Marumi T2 Adapter for Canon EOS R lets you connect your camera to an adapter from another optical device. With this T2 adapter, you can easily use a spotting scope or telescope as a telephoto lens for your Canon camera. Plus, this smart solution allows you to attach your camera to a microscope to capture amazing close-up shots.
Key features of the Marumi T2 Adapter for Canon EOS R
- Compatible with Canon mirrorless cameras from the R System series
- Simple attachment to the camera’s bayonet mount
- Use spotting scopes or telescopes as a telephoto lens
- Capture stunning close-ups using a microscope
- Quick setup for immediate creative use
Just remove the lens from your Canon camera’s bayonet mount and attach the T2 adapter. Once the adapter is securely in place, fix the appropriate camera adapter so it slides smoothly over the eyepiece. This way, you don’t just use the spotting scope as binoculars — you turn it into a powerful telephoto lens that lets you create unique images with incredible magnification. And the possibilities don’t stop there; for ultra-detailed photography, you can also connect your camera to a microscope.
The T2 adapter is specifically designed for Canon mirrorless cameras in the R System series; you recognize these by the red ring on the lens mount (see image 2). If your camera has a different marking, there are other suitable T2 adapters available. For cameras with a white circle, choose the Marumi T2 Adapter for EOS M. For those with a red circle, we offer the Marumi T2 Adapter for EOS Digital.
If your Canon camera shows both a red circle and a white square, please contact us for personalized advice. We’re happy to help you find the perfect fit.
